Ms. Doan empowers high school students to build confidence in math by developing a growth mindset and learning how to tackle even the toughest problems like word problems and multi-step equations without giving up.
Through active learning techniques such as error analysis, math journaling, and self-explanation, students deepen their conceptual understanding and learn to think like mathematicians. This course equips students with practical test-taking strategies, including how to approach multiple-choice questions, avoid common mistakes, and manage math test anxiety. Students gain the tools and mindset needed to succeed not only in math class, but for years to come.
